matoi
纏 (まとい)
A type of Japanese flag used by firemen during the Edo period.
It was used to identify a fire brigade, and to notify other firemen about the location of a burning building, by waving the Matoi atop a nearby roof.
它被用来识别一个消防队，并通过向附近屋顶上的一个Matoi挥舞Matoi来通知其他消防员有关燃烧建筑物的位置。
